About the event

At 5:30 PM, guests were picked up by two party buses outside the ICA store in Bromma, unaware of the evening’s destination or contents. Upon boarding, each participant drew a half playing card from a hat to then search for their table companion with the other half during the mingle. During the journey, there were drinks and entertainment provided by roaming magicians.

Upon arrival at the bomb shelter, guests were greeted with a red carpet and an impressive circus performer on stilts serving bubbly. Popcorn and continued entertainment from the roaming magicians contributed to a festive atmosphere. At 6:30 PM, the curtain to the Tegel Hall was opened, adorned with everything from white feathers and grand floral arrangements to LED balloons and gold plates. Our staff for the evening were dressed in elegant, classic circus style with black suspenders and berets to tie into the theme.

No circus is complete without a tasteful feast, and our catering kitchen rose to the challenge with outstanding skill. A delicate sharing dinner was served, where each course was shared by four people to promote camaraderie at the tables. The menu included thinly sliced farm veal with parsley gremolata, lamb roast beef with baked golden beets and garlic, as well as organic farm cheeses with seasonal jams. Entertainment was led by Peter Åberg, known from “Talang,” with a variety of acts. Guests also enjoyed a magical rooftop performance by circus artist Lisa.

After dinner, guests were invited to the cavern for freshly spun cotton candy as dessert and a well-stocked bar. A DJ kept guests dancing late into the night, concluding with the song “Stad i Ljus”.
